All New digiSHOP 6.0 - Feature Packed and Design Friendly!
There are over 50 new features and over 100 new enhancements, along with a re-designed admin to minimize clicks. Below is a list of some of the new features.

Receive Order Notifications via Text Messaging!
You can have a text message automatically sent to you when a customer places an order on your site. So now you will know immediately if you make sale even if you are not near a computer.

View Abandoned and Live Carts
You can see all carts which have not yet placed orders. This can be helpful because you can follow up with them and help them place the order. You can also see which items your customers are adding to their cart but not finishing the order.

Instant Image Zoom
Let you customers get a closer look instantly at your product photos using Image Zoom! As customers put their mouse over the product image, instantly the larger product photo is viewed with detailed images of the item, without clicking a mouse! This lets your customers see every detail of your product to help in their buying decision with your online store. This is free to use with digiSHOP. Just turn on the feature and you are ready to go. USPS Label Printing
You can now print USPS label directly from your admin area. You can print First Class, Parcel Post, Priority, Bound Printed, Library, Media Mail, Express and Express Mail International with Delivery Confirmation or Signature Confirmation. This feature can save you time and expedite your shipping process. View Sample!

FedEx Label Printing
You can now print FedEx label directly from your admin area. You can print almot every kind of FedEx shipping labels. This feature can save you time and expedite your shipping process. View Sample!

FedEx Rates Support Dimensional Shipping
For more accurate rate quotes, we have integrated dimensional shipping into digiSHOP for FedEx. This way your quotes will be much more accurate.

FedEx Tracking
You can now bring back live FedEx tracking to your website. This will allow you and your customers to view FedEx package tracking information in their my account or in your admin area. Your customers will no longer have to go to FedEx.com to get tracking information.

Category Design Widget
You can now choose how you want your categories to display. You can expand them to display sub-categories, you can set roll-over or hover colors and you can even have roll-over popouts to display
your sub-categories. All of this can be controlled in your admin area interface.

Control the fonts, colors and more of Widgets
This gives you much more flexibility in controlling your design layout directly in your admin area. From your admin, you will be able to change the fonts, color and styles
of your entire store and widgets.

Stone Edge Order Manager Integration
You can automatically send your customers, orders and inventory to Stone Edge Order Manager. You can also export credit card numbers to Stone Edge (if you choose to save credit card numbers) for processing through Stone Edge.

ReCaptcha Integration
This is the image verification you often see when filling in a form on sites. This will allow you to prevent spam, spiders and bots from submitting forms on certain parts of your store. ReCaptcha can be used when a customer creates a review, an affiliate account, a store account or logging into your store admin area.

Google Analytics Order Conversion Tracking
When you sign-up with Google Analytics digiSHOP can send the items in the order and additional order info to Google Analytics.

Point of Sale (Pro only)
digiSHOP point of sale (POS) allows store owners to process orders through their online store similar to the way they would when they are selling directly in your brick and mortar store. This feature is very helpful also at trade shows or conferences where you can quickly take check, cash or credit card payments. With the point of sale system you can use barcode scanner, credit card strip reader and a 3-inch receipt printer.
Note: To use the barcode scanner, credit card reader or printer this must be connected via usb on your computer.

Create your own custom fields
Add an unlimited amount of new fields to the checkout process. You can add new fields on the create account, existing account, billing,
shipping and payment pages. The custom fields support a variety of different layouts. Those are drop down, text field, checkboxes, text area,
radio buttons, multi-select box and select box. For example, if you wanted to start collecting the age of your customers, you could add a new
field called "Age" on the billing page, plus you can choose if you want to make it a required field. With this feature you can also control the order the
new fields appear on the pages you assign them to. You can do all of this directly in your admin area.

Authorize.net Authorize First, Capture Later
You can now set Authorize.net to authorize only or authorize and capture (what it does in pre digiSHOP 6). If you use authorize only, you will be able to capture the order in the admin area when you are ready to ship the product.

Control Content On Your Homepage
On all version pre digiSHOP 6, you could only display categories on your homepage (cart.php). You will now be able to display featured products or categories. You will also be able to add your own custom content and images on your homepage directly in your admin area.

Homepage Meta Tags
You can now set your homepage meta tags like title and description directly in the admin area. This will help your site in organic search results.

Affiliate Login
Affiliate can now sign-up on your store front with the affiliate sign-up form.
|
Image URL's
For all product images and category images you can use an image URL (http://www.sumeffect.com/_images/ses.logo.gif) versus using the browse and upload button. This is typically used when you would prefer to have your images hosted on another server to save on disk space and bandwidth with your current host.

Unlimited Tracking Numbers
You can now have unlimited tracking numbers with each order. This will be helpful if you order contains multiple packages, this will allow you to provide multiple tracking numbers.

More Personalization Fields
You can now have up to 20 personalization fields. The personalization fields allow you your customers to enter in text and you can choose to have it be required and if you want to charge more for it. An
example would be if you sold embroidery so you would create a personalization field called "Your Name".

Membership Group View Pricing/Add to Cart
You can choose to display or not display by membership groups the pricing, quantity and add-to-cart buttons. An example use would be if you have a Wholesale site and you only want wholesalers to place orders
you could allow them to see the add-to-cart button, but regular customers would not have that ability.

Google Sitemap XML
This allows Google to properly index your product and category pages for higher page rankings. This will ensure your products are listed in Google and other search engines.

Control Which Fields Are Required During Checkout
On the billing page and shipping page, choose which optional fields you want to display and if they should be required. For example, you can now make the billing phone number
a required field or choose not to display it as an option on the billing page. You can do all of this directly in your admin area.

Set Minimum Order Quantity for a Product
If your products require a minimum order quantity, you can now set this value for each product. If a customer adds less than minimum required the customer will notified and be required to meet the minimum level to checkout with that product.

Forward URL for Content Pages
The forward URL for content pages will allow to create content pages, which just forward to another URL. For example, if you want to create a link for "Blog", you could use the forward URL to link to the blog page.

Subscription Billing Changes (Pro Only)
You can now force only 1 timeline for your customers with recurring billing. This way your customers don't have to choose a timeline when there is only one timeline option.
Another new feature is you can set certain products to be eligible or not eligible for recurring billing and allow for limited payments. The allow for limited payments
would let you set your recurring charge for say 5 times before the subscription ends. You can also set a special price for the recurring charges. For example you could set
a product to be $250.00, but each recurring charge be only $75. This can work if you need payment plans for certain products.\

Ebay Integration (Pro Only)
Post Your Products on Ebay! You can now post an item to be sold on eBay directly through digiSHOP. This can save you time and allow you to open up an entire new sales channel with eBay. Directly in the admin area you can simply click a button to post a product to ebay. From there you can choose from fixed price or auction and enter in the details of the item. You can even choose if you want the item to be featured, bold and many other choices eBay gives you to promote your product. From there you can post your product live on ebay.com!

Email Auto-Responders
You will be able to set email auto-responders for specific products. With this feature you can now send out specific emails based on what your customer ordered. For example, if you want to sell baseball bats, you could have digiSHOP automatically send the customer an email after they order baseball bats trying to up sell them on buying
batting gloves.

Advanced Store Closed WYSIWYG
If you need to close your store for any reason for maintenance or updating you can create your own custom store closed message with the WYSIWYG editor.

Disable WYSIWYG Editor
You can disable the WYSIWYG editor if your prefer to paste your own html code into those areas.

Rates, Tracking and Label Printing Split out
You no longer need to have UPS real-time rate quotes to receive real-time UPS tracking. This applies to FedEx and USPS. For example, if you use an offline shipping method such as
order sub-total and you ship UPS and USPS you can choose to let your customers receive real-time package tracking for both of those shipping companies directly on your store's website.

Control the Order Your Content Pages Display
When using the information widget to display your custom content pages (ie about us, contact us, etc), you can now control the order in which they are displayed.

Free Shipping Coupon
Be able to create free shipping coupons for your customers!

Options with Default Choices
You can now set default option choices. An example would be if you had a drop down for a product called "Color". You can have the first selection in the drop down be "Select A Color". If this is selected
then your customer will be told to please pick a color to add the item to your cart. This can be helpful to make sure your customers don't add an option they didn't want because they weren't paying attention.

Exclude Certain States/Provinces from Shipping
You can exclude specific US states and Canadian provinces from your shipping choices.

Shipping Surcharge for states/provinces for shipping
This will allow you to add a shipping surcharge to any US state or Canadian province. An example would be if you want to charge an extra $10.00 to ship to Alaska or Hawaii.

Content Pages Can Be Assigned to Membership Groups
You can assign content pages to specific membership groups. This would allow you to create special content just for that specific membership group. For example, if you had a membership group called
"Wholesalers", you could create a content page called "Wholesales FAQ'S" that would only be displayed if you are logged in as a wholesalers. This way the rest of your customers who are not wholesales
will not see that web page.

Ability to Change Merchant URL in the admin area
You can change this directly in the admin area. This can be helpful if you set your store on a temporary URL first like an IP address and later need to change the store URL.

Configure Check and Money Orders
You can display custom messages on the order complete page if a customer pays by check or money order. For example, you could tell the customer where to send the money order or check.

Restrict Shipping to Zip Codes
You can restrict shipping to only certain zip codes. This is typically used by store owners ship to specific areas only.

Search for Keywords on Language Library
You can quickly find specific words in the language library to quickly edit any words/phrases used in digiSHOP

Easier to use and sharper look
Enhanced design in the admin area, with certain aspects change for easier use and performance.

Images Can Be Used For Add to Cart button, view cart buttons and more
You can have your own custom add to cart buttons, view cart buttons, empty cart buttons and more on the store front-end versus using the standard form buttons.

Vendors Widget Can Be a List or Drop Down
If you have a long vendor list, instead of displaying a list, you can now choose to display your vendors in a drop down menu.

Category Teasers
On your store front under the category thumbnail, this will now use a new field for category teaser. This will allow you to put brief teasers under each category and allow you to put longer descriptions in the category description field.

Enhanced Direct Quickbooks Integration
Added additional functionality to support more customers, products for the direct quickbooks integration.

Shop By Price
You can add this new widget to your store to allow your customers to browser your products by price. For example your customers could see a drop down
containing $0-$25, $25-$50, $50-$75, $75-$100, $100+

Sitewide Discounts Support Multiple Ranges
You can specify different price ranges for discounts. For example you could say if you spend $50-$100 you will get a 10% discount off your order and if you spend more than $100, you will get a 15% discount off your order.

Bulk Editing of Products in Admin
Instead of editing one product at a time to change price, sales price, featured products, inventory level and more; you can do this in batch for quick editing.

Ability to turn Vendors On/Off
You can turn the vendors widget on or off from your admin area. This will also remove the vendor drop down from the advanced search.

Newsletter Uses WYSIWYG Editor
You can now create your newsletters in digiSHOP with a built-in WYSIWYG editor.
