Product bundling for inventory

You can now create a bundle of items, that when purchased, will deduct inventory from each "part" or product that makes up the bundle. So if you sell "kits" of items for a discount rate, but need the inventory to correctly deduct from each "item" that makes up the kit, you can now do that.

Breadcrumb trail on the product detail pages

You can now view the breadcrumb trail of a product on the product detail template.

Refer a friend program

A customer can now refer a friend and be given store credit via a gift certificate.

Canonical URL support for better SEO with Google

You can now specify a Canonical URL to allow Google to properly see which pages are the ones it should use for search engine rankings when it finds duplicate pages of content i.e. a product that you can get to from multiple categories.

FedEx freight works with vendor based shipping

FedEx Freight will now use the Vendor's Zip Codes when calculating Freight rates for FedEx Freight, when applicable.

Product shipping restrictions will now control which shipping services (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) are presented to you on the front end (calculate shipping, checkout multi ship, checkout shipping, etc.)

This means that if a certain product CANNOT go Ground for some reason, for example, you can tell the system to NOT allow Ground as a choice during checkout IF this item is part of the order.

AddThis Button integration on product detail

We added an integration with AddThis on the product detail template so you can easily share a product via many different sources, like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc.

Integrated with Mail Chimp and Constant Contact

MailChimp and Constant Contact are email marketing systems we now integrate with so you can use those systems to send targeted emails to your customers and get the email addresses for the mailing lists from your digiSHOP store.

Faster and cleaner look for admin product pages

We have rebuilt the design and user interface for the admin product form to allow it to be a LOT easier to add products and manage inventory.

You can now specify whether or not you want to use SMTP to send emails.

If your host requires SMTP for you to send out emails, you can now have digiSHOP do this instead of using PHP's Mail Function.

Added a new personalization type for clickable images

You can now add selectable options to your product to allow them to see each choice and be able to click on the visual image of each option, instead of just seeing text with radio buttons for example.

Added the ability to add helper text to personalization questions

If you want or need to explain what an option or personalization is asking a customer, we have added the ability for you to add helper text to that question so customers can read and understand what to choose.

Added the ability to upload PDF files per product in the admin area and have them show up on the product detail

If you have a PDF file that you use for specs about your products, or for technical documentation or instructions on how to use a product, you can now add those to a product and have them display as links to download them from the product detail.

You can toggle two settings in the inventory settings product tab that will allow customers to sort products by min order qty (asc) and setup fee (desc) on the front end product list templates

If you need to sort products by what the minimum qty required is, you can now do that, along with by whether the product has a setup fee or not.

You can now import zip based tax rates

If doing tax by state or county is not accurate for your business, we now offer a way to charge tax solely based on the Shipping Zip Code. You can mass import the zip code list and each's corresponding tax rate.

Custom images per product - show up in a new widget and on product detail

If you have a product that you want special images to show up only when that product is being displayed, there is now a widget you can add to do this.

Added the ability to choose multiple payment options per sales channel

Now we offer the ability to offer different payment options depending on the type of sale it is. For example, when using Mobile Commerce if you want to accept Credit Cards only, while on regular site sales you want to offer Credit Card and COD and CHECK, you can now do that.

Integrated with QB POS

Our integrations with QuickBooks just got a lot stronger with the addition of compatibility with the QuickBooks POS system.

Minimum order amount per customer group

If you want there to be a minimum order amount, but only for certain groups of customers, you can now do that.

PayTrace payment gateway integration

You can now use the PayTrace payment gateway if you choose.

Added the ability to authorize only with the Linkpoint gateway

If you use Linkpoint, now you can set the system up to Authorize cards only when an order is placed, and capture them later i.e. when you ship.

Vendor flat rate shipping

You can now calculate shipping based on a flat rate cost per Vendor for each Shipping Zone.

There is now a sales price end date.

If you want a product's sale price to "expire" or "turn off" at a certain date, you can now set a date for it to do that.

Product Review Admin Notification

When a customer submits a review, you can tell the system to email you as a notification of the review's submittal.

Password Protected Categories

If you need to force a customer to enter a password to view a specific category of items, you can now do that.

Added Echo Global Freight

You can now use the Echo Global payment gateway if you choose.

Added tokens for page blurbs such as customer name

Now if you want make a page blurb more personal, you can now use certain tokens inside the blurb, such as the customer's name.

Added the ability to flag a coupon to be used for non-sale products only

If you want a coupon to NOT discount products that are already on sale pricing, you can check a checkbox to tell a coupon to ignore sale items.

Sort Shipping Methods

If you want the options in the shipping drop down or when you calculate shipping on the view cart to display in a certain order i.e. cheapest first, you can now control the sort order.

For the tab navigation added ability to define 2 custom tabs

You can already use tab style display inside a product detail AND now we have added the ability for you to name 2 custom tabs with your own custom content.

Soft layer add to cart for easy add to cart viewing

We added a much sleeker looking CSS Layer Popup that will display when you add to cart. If you have the system setup to keep you on the same page you are on, a nice looking message (not a popup) now displays to tell you the product has been added.

Pop-up shipping calculator revamped so it will not require a new window

The Shipping Calculator popup has been rebuilt to be a CSS Layer so its not caught by popup blockers.

Can view sales tax on view cart

You can now calculate the tax from the view cart screen so you don't have to wait until the end of checkout to see the tax.

Sitewide category discounts

If you want to discount all product inside a single category by X%, you can now do that.

New integrated sales tax wizard

We have revamped the user interface for how you setup tax to make it a LOT easier to use and setup.

Template layouts can be set at the product level. This means each product can have a different product layout.

You could in the past choose a specific template to use for the product detail template for all products. You can now set each product to use a specific template, and different products can have different template styles.
